⭐️ Worst Banking Service The worst service I have ever experienced at a bank. Arrogant employees, even towards business customers. The advisors are out of their depth, seem disinterested, and supposedly never have time. Contact persons are constantly changing. Documents are created incorrectly or even sent to the tax advisor with completely wrong names. In some cases, I was given incorrect data for other customers – absolutely unacceptable. Apparently, setting up a simple SEPA direct debit mandate correctly and quickly is impossible here. E-banking is unreliable, and business transactions with SEPA, direct debit, and other payment methods are constantly problematic. I am only a customer because there is a branch near my home, allowing me to quickly deposit cash for my business. Otherwise, there are difficulties with almost every transaction. On several occasions, I haven't even had access to my own money. Absolutely not recommended for business customers.
Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with Sparkasse Fulda when we entered the loan phase of our building society savings contract. Disclosing highly personal financial data was stressful for us and was neither transparent nor comprehensible in its communication. Our inquiries sometimes received curt replies without any concrete explanations. Particularly problematic was an unannounced withdrawal of over €50,000 from our checking account, which caused us considerable anxiety. Furthermore, there was a lack of clear deadlines and agreements, which ultimately even led to late payment charges on a KfW loan. Sparkasse did not offer an apology. On a positive note, we did encounter a customer service representative who was proactive and explained the situation clearly – this significantly improved our understanding. Overall, we would like to see much better communication and a more collaborative approach to long-standing customers.
Last year's World Savings Day event at the Flieden branch was rather lackluster and sluggish, so this year we went to the main branch at Buttermarkt. Only two counters were open for World Savings Day, so the other families were stuck in two queues! The other employees, who weren't assigned to the World Savings Day counters, didn't know what to do! A third and even a fourth counter would have been appropriate at the main branch! Compared to other Hessian savings banks, the available gifts were also somewhat disappointing (the Schlüchtern savings bank gives away Playmobil figures). Balloons and comics weren't available to take home and therefore couldn't be offered to the children! Unfortunately, switching to another Hessian savings bank isn't possible!
