Signature Bank 191 North Wacker Drive Chicago Loop

Nice bankers in a great location, Wacker and Lake within the 191 North Wacker lobby. Public parking within the building. ATM on site.

Just went into this bank today they’re very unprofessional and racist. I had a check for the bank. They told me that I wasn’t able to cash it that they only Cash payroll checks asked to speak with the manager, the person that I was talking to was the manager, and she stated that I wasn’t able to cash the check that I had just deposited into my account because they don’t cash those checks I never heard of anything like that if I have a check for this exact bank, how am I not able to cash it because it’s not a payroll check

In terms of location - love it. Staff is always friendly and there is pretty much NEVER a line. In terms of services/offerings - love it. They offer up to $25/mo reimbursement on ATM fees since they only have like 2 in the entire city. And I recently found out they have a FEE FREE Health Savings Account option. In terms of usability, online/mobile services - not great, but improving. They finally got a mobile app which makes doing transfers and checking balances much easier. ALSO, you can get added functionality for mobile deposits (but you need to fill out a form first). And you have to CALL them if you are going out of town (out of state and beyond) so they can make note on your account. They need to get this automated.

The people here make the bank feel like a hometown bank. Everyone is genuinely friendly. Tellers that I only see once a month remember details about me and ask about roommates, etc. I switched from one of the too big to fail banks and I couldn't be happier. With the mobile app, it doesn't really matter that they only have a couple of locations. You can make deposits remotely and when you do have to go in and see a teller, you are treated with respect.
