Dear Permata Bank Head Office, I am writing to formally file a serious complaint regarding the outrageous and completely unacceptable behavior I encountered at your Permata Bank KCP Ubud Gianyar branch. Over the past year, I have been exchanging and storing USD through this branch without any issue. However, during my most recent visit, when I requested to convert my USD back into IDR, the staff informed me that they would only accept approximately 60% of the total amount, claiming that the serial numbers of the remaining bills were not acceptable — despite the fact that these very bills were purchased through your bank and scanned by your own employees at the time of transaction. This is not only absurd, it is highly suspicious and unethical. Furthermore, when I agreed to proceed with the partial amount, I was offered an exchange rate (16,310) that was blatantly lower than the actual bank rate (16,380) on the same day. I firmly say that this bank is considered the worst bank ever. Could you imagine? They ask you to request through the app if you'd like to get the physical card for your bank account (which is fine because I understand this innovative movement). But here are several things that make me mad. Firstly, you need to reconfirm once you've requested your physical cards either through customer service or app, yet they only help you during office hours. Secondly, they make it so freaking complicated during the confirmation time, so perfectionist. Not allowed to make any single mistakes during the confirmation. I mean like wth this is ME responding the question about ME. Even they didn't give me chances to fix it and should start over through the first call? Heh no wonder why you have a little number of branches. The worst bank ever 👎👎👎👎👎
After soo many attempt on opening account on PermataMobile X App, I visit the KCP on WTC 2. The problem is, On a very digital era, for opening a new account they won't handle you until you have printed document by "yourself", I don't know any other banking company who still has old conventional terms that doesn't make it easy for a customer. Anyway I have to print my documents on another building because I had to open an account (work related).
Worst bank ever!! I am sad, I had this bank account! Plan to close it asap Even for Permata Me account, quite free facilities (bank trf, etc) but the service is Zero Star!!
