Most idiotic bank in Norwegian history. Asks for KYC from the same person with the same passport up to 4 times over a 10 year period. Rotates away digital copies of customers' passports and has a lousy corporate solution that doesn't talk to the private solution when it comes to ID.
Having to shell out 200 kroner to buy an ATM card that you can only use once seems to me to be poor customer service. I had lost my wallet with a Visa card and this was the only way to get money out. What was particularly unfortunate was that there was a maximum withdrawal limit, which meant that my planned vacation had to be postponed. My partner got a bank ID over a year ago and the chip is still not working or usable. After talking to customer service and going to the bank, the chip still hasn't been exchanged for another one. It was embarrassing to witness them demanding 70 kroner for each bill she had to pay. Over a year has passed and she is still sitting with a useless chip. They blamed the laptop first, which is strange since I use the same laptop and bank. Being referred to other offices by phone and customer service representatives with different opinions shouldn't be a difficult problem to fix. Personally, I have just changed banks.
