ING Bank 96 Stadsplein Amstelveen

Worst customer service. I was at the bank to inquire something and the young lady who was there just told me to use the chat on the app and walked off! Didn’t even ack as a customer. When I confronted her she said that’s how they help weather I like it or not. Better off calling them than visiting the bank!

Enjoyed waiting here in queue. They have a nice coffee machine and biscuits for people waiting. The area is cozy and relaxing. The staff are very helpful and they manage the traffic well.

4.50 euro for a new card as the chip function became defective.. ridiculous, a bank not taking responsibility for defective products

Will close my accounts at ING after 49 years. All my private accounts, all my business accounts and all my savings accounts. It is due to the highly unprofessionial behavior of the amstelveen bank manager and his poor communication skills. When i tried to explain to him that maybe he should have first properly listened to us before coming with his poor solution that was only working from a banking perspective and not from a client perspective he literally said "dont bring that psychological stuff into the conversation". It is not the first rude treatment by ING and it reflects the arrogance i recently heard a hotshot ing manager proclaim on radio 1. When asked why they were not raising their interest rates he basically said: as long as people put their money with us, why would we?No sense of fairness, no sense of customer-centricity. I was with ing already when they were still Rijkspostspaarbank. I will leave now.
