Just had the most smooth and friendly experience at the branch today, with the staff (I’ve forgotten to ask for the name) at the “Smart Teller” counter at the entrance. Needed to re activate an old bank account that I haven’t been using for more than 10 years, was expecting a long wait and probably a lot of documentation I may not have immediately. I’m so pleasantly surprised by the speed, efficiency of the service, most importantly, staff is very knowledgeable with most welcoming and friendly attitudes I’ve not experienced in the UK, definitely made me want to stay with the bank in the coming years. Staff at the branch makes a huge difference to customers, they are the face of a bank, especially to people in the local community, something robots or AI would never be able to replace. Keep up the great work!

I had a disappointing experience with the Hengseng Bank branch. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the assistance I needed. I was asked to provide some printouts, which I had saved on my mobile phone. As a newcomer, I was unsure where to find a printing service. The staff at the branch responded rudely, stating that they couldn't help me with printing. I later discovered that there was a public library located just 50 minutes away where I could have printed my documents, but the staff didn't offer any guidance or assistance in that regard. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed. I believe that a bank should have welcoming staff who assist customers who wish to conduct transactions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this particular branch of Hengseng Bank to anyone who is looking for banking services.

Hang Seng banking system sucks. Everything you do have to be done in the branch. Change of address: need to go to the branch Change of phone number: need to go to the branch (they need you to have access of the old number in order to update to a new number !!! if I have access to the old number, why would I need to update to a new number... Every time you go to the brach, it's over an hour wait time. They freeze my account for no reason and I have to find out the hard way. They didn't notify me at all. So I need to go to the branch to find out why.
