It was a bitter experience because I needed to use this bank. It is bad in all respects. The reception, the staff, the way they work, are all in the gutter.

The right place

There will never be a second chance to make a good first impression. This bank reflects the idleness that plagues the country at all levels. A few minutes are enough to witness the mismanagement, the favoritism that is commonplace in national administrations, the poor reception at the front office, the cacophony of the room as if you were in a souk, and the overly informal language. It's a far cry from providing customer service, or even professional banking services.

Parking is very difficult and expensive. If you want to exchange currency (tourist allowance), be warned that it has become complicated and the service is very slow compared to other banks. 1- If you are traveling abroad by road, you will need a copy of the receipt previously purchased from the tax office, in addition to a copy of the first page of your passport, or a copy of your plane ticket. 2- Every adult (19+) must submit the application and collect the money themselves, and what's strange is that they only accept applications from families (each individual application is rejected!). 3- If you are the parent of a minor traveler, don't forget to bring your family record book. 4- Unlike other banks, you only get your passport and the money back at 3 PM. This means you submit the application at 8:45 AM and you have to come back in the afternoon!
