They don't answer the phone and half the staff don't know what they're doing. Long wait times and often short staffed. The BB dictate where you can send your own money to claiming ridiculous policy surrounding clint risk yet if I want to go to a casino and blow it all thats ok with them, so the policy is nonsense and IMO designed to keep money on their balance sheet. I have a policy to give one star review to banks that don't let me spend my own money so here it is.

This bank is awful! My husband and I booked an appointment for Saturday to open new saving account. We are new in Australia and permanent residence,when we arrived and talked to employee ,she told couldn’t open account for us because we are from Iran! While I know Iranian people that have accounts in this bank! I wasted my time. And this bank have not enough true information about rules.

So, a few weeks ago, we wanted to open up an account. Although my wife and I are permanent residents of Australia, they told us that we can not give you any services since you are from Iran. I mean, why? What possibly an account can do with our ethnicity?

These guys seriously do not care about their customers. The queue's at the bank are the worst Ive ever seen anywhere in my life. Staff fluttering around when they could be providing assistance.

No communication, don't answer there phone, wont reply back to messages Once they have you not interested in keeping you. Have attempted to transfer my loan and accounts to another Bendigo Bank and wont allow it, not sure what l should do than go to another bank. Disappointing experience.
