One of the tellers provided INCORRECT information, stating that to close a savings account that a company I work for forced me to open, which I NEVER USED, I needed to present a RUT (tax identification number), which I am not registered for because I don't file income tax returns as either an individual or a business. It's shameful that BBVA's phone lines state that this document is NOT REQUIRED to close a savings account, and yet I had to go all the way there from Bogotá. What a lack of respect for their customers! They need to provide more training for their employees. Remember, it's the bank that looks bad, not the individual.
They're sooooo slow. :( I was three shifts ahead of me and waited 40 minutes. The place wasn't crowded, but they take forever to get to the checkout.
The service is very slow, they don't speed things up. Customers' time is equally valuable.
