Barclays Bank 9-11 Saint Andrew's Street Cambridge

On Wednesday, March 4th, I visited the bank to open a new credit card and set up a Rewards ISA account. I had the pleasure of working with Ted, who provided excellent service. He was very professional and took the time to explain all my options clearly, helping me choose the best accounts for my needs. The entire process was smooth, and I appreciate the support I received. I have had a very positive experience at Barclays Cambridge. Everyone has been very friendly, welcoming and kind. I also noticed that many older customers visit this branch, and the staff have been consistently patient and respectful when supporting them with their questions. I would especially like to thank Mr.Ted. He was extremely professional and efficient, and helped me handle everything I needed in one visit. His support saved me a great deal of time and made the whole process smooth and reassuring. I would be very happy to return to this branch and would gladly seek Mr.Ted’s assistance again for any future enquiries.

We visited the bank in Cambridge with an appointment made for the 31st of December. We were met with a very witty lady who told us to go upstairs and Flávio would be with us shortly. From the moment we met Flávio, he was amazing. He never once made us feel he was rushing us and was very patient when he had to explain things again to us. He wrote things down for us to help with decisions we had to make. As a Barclays customer for 35 years, i finally left my honest review describing inadequate customer service & services removed by Barclays due to fee increases. I left my negative review, Barclays immediately responded to said review & asked me to call customer services to rectify the situation. I called Barclays & was told “we wont change your service reduction or fee increases & the review was left to look professional” OMG really 🤔 … as usual NO Customer Care !!!
