What a horrible bank. Even if you have your credit insurance etc. with them, don't ask them for a single service even if you have been loyal for many years. Don't go through a single bad period because the fees keep coming in all directions, even unjustified, and with no explanation! Unpleasant, incapable and haughty advisor...change for my partner to Crédit Mutuel like me where they are there for their customers!
After 36 years at Crédit du Nord, I have seen customer relations slowly but surely deteriorate. I have been a customer at the Banque Populaire Val de France branch in Nogent-le-Rotrou for three years now, and I would like to commend the quality of service I have found there. Competence, efficiency, kindness, and friendliness: these are values that have become rare, but which are fully embodied here. Thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and their always warm welcome. It is truly a pleasure to rediscover a truly trusting relationship with your bank.
Advisor Claire Galais is incompetent and clearly lacks knowledge. I have never had such a disastrous experience with an advisor. I strongly advise against using Banque Populaire in Nogent-le-Rotrou if you want proper management and sound advice.
I don't understand the opinions of some who say that Claire Gallais is incompetent; on the contrary, I am very happy with this advisor, who is by far the best advisor I've had at Banque Populaire in all the 20 years I've been a customer.
For a mortgage application: an advisor who inspires confidence, signs preliminary agreements, and tells us on every phone call not to worry, that the paperwork will arrive soon, only to send a loan refusal on the last day of the legal deadline, after having us sign addendums to postpone everything. When we ask why, stunned, we are told that "the bank has no justification to provide." Two weeks after receiving a letter to close our accounts, they are still open. Our requests to change our direct debits are refused without any explanation. It's impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone who can resolve the issues. When we ask for justifications for all these refusals, after two years with this bank opening all our personal and business accounts there, there is no response, no transparency, we are treated condescendingly. In a few days, all our problems were resolved at the Crédit Mutuel branch across the street, our loan approved without any issues. We will never open another account
