However, once we told him we were switching banks, he became very efficient at sending us the necessary paperwork, but much less so at closing our loans...

My parents had their account closed at this branch after 62 years with the bank, without a single overdraft. My father simply requested an increase to his card limit in December, and since the manager didn't think it was necessary, the conversation lasted over 15 minutes. My mother complained over my father on the phone. Expressing a disagreeable opinion is unacceptable; it's presumptuous behavior, truly questionable from a business perspective, and shameful from a human standpoint. Shame on you!
