Very pathetic service. The person who's behind the help desk should know code of conduct what question can be asked to customer or not, They definitely needs a well training of customer service. Does not helpful at all. The clerk reaction was awful when I asked for help how to lodge money into a bank of Ireland account that I bought goods from but she's asking do I know them personally and why I want to lodge . It's understandable if she asks for my ID or purchase receipt but way too many personal questions are pathetic. Don't Recommend this branch 0 out of 5
All the usual banking services and great staff, layout and extremely helpful assistants.
Having had an awful experience at another establishment, causing us to close our account there, we walked in to Thurles BoI and were greeted by Lara. She sorted us out, in the nicest possible way, and didn't stop smiling the entire time! A credit to her family and a definite asset to Thurles BoI.
wanted to open up a bank account and was struggling with the online application, came in today and was told to do it online, i find this extremely insulting as I just wanted to do it entirely in person, I had a paper work issue i was not told was a problem on the site, I then was told to try again online (which I immensely struggled with, as I have gotten kicked out of the site multiple times trying to apply for an account) I then left and set up an appointment with a different bank as they could actually provide services without needing to struggle with a horrible site, if I come to the bank I expect the bank to offer all it's services and not to be told to get my phone out
The staff are always very considerate and helpful. I am an old age pensioner and depend on the staff. Well done bank of ireland Thurles.
