Bank of Ireland, Athlone 31 Church Street Athlone

The bank itself is fairly modern even if its small compared to other branches. Unfortunately the elderly staff are rude, lethargic, unhelpful and discriminatory especially Lizanne White. Overall I would recommend avoiding and opting for another banking provider.

Basing this very positive review on my visit there this morning. A lady called Imelda was so constructively helpful. Really good customer service.

Regardless of the queue at the cash desk, they'll never open a second desk. Queued for 35 minutes.

Not crowded staff very helpful especially the manager who was very helpful and friendly.

Deliberately making banking in person as difficult as possible.
