The service is terrible. The person in the photo refused to help me and sent me to their manager, wasting 30 minutes on a matter that should have taken no more than a minute. They should hire people who are eager to work, not those who mistreat customers. A bank that bears the name of the Chilean State should be more careful about who they put in place as its public face.
The queues are a bit long, but it's worth it for the safety and infrastructure.
No priority lines. The customer service representative's response was "there are seats" when he realized all the seats were taken. He told me he couldn't give me priority (I have a broken leg and use crutches) because if he helped me, everyone would want to go first. In the end, I had to wait standing for 40 minutes.
What kind of customer service is this? More than an hour's wait, terrible.
I waited over 45 minutes to see on the screen that they were only on number S18, even though I was on S25. It wasn't even that busy. It's a disgrace that, besides being a terrible institution, it has such appalling customer service. Please, Chile, DO NOT USE BANCO ESTADO.
