Update on the previous case - they have lost the money transferred internally. The emitting bank has confirmed from their side with a reference number that the money has been sent to BancoEstado. Various emails, going to one of their offices and writing directly via WhatsApp with their customer service has just lead to generic replies from AI, being sent to other numbers or places and then on till emitting bank and eventually to bring kicked out of their help line. I don't know if someone has embezzled the money, but they for sure as hell don't care the least bit about it. They just want to send you around in circles without ever actually helping. The joke is, if they had spent a portion of the time of sending me around on actually trying to locate the transfer, we'd have both saved so much time and I wouldn't have been left doubting their legality. Terrible Customer Service experience via their official website helpdesk. I have made a transfer from my bank to one of their clients. Ho

My bill is due on March 19th. That day I'm withdrawing all my savings from this infamous bank. My brother has been living in Montreal, Canada since February 1987, and my other brother since 1990. My brother came to our mother's funeral in 2012 and gave us a general power of attorney for whatever was needed. The account hasn't been updated since then, and now, due to some supposed secret bank regulation never published in the official gazette, they're telling me that the general power of attorney isn't valid for the bank and that the person has to travel 14,000 kilometers to check their account and update their online banking password. THE BANK, WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST, SUFFOCATES YOU WITH ITS DAMN BUREAUCRACY. I know these union bureaucrats don't give a damn about us, but out of all those millions of accounts, not everyone pays in advance. I do. They like being sued for dis

I just confirmed the service at the State Bank of Chile. Yesterday, a woman approached me, and when I paid her, she looked at and apparently memorized my checking account password, which I changed a few days ago at the State Bank of Chile's main branch. I changed the password again tomorrow, and the bank employee helped me block it for security. Thank you, sir, for being willing to assist me during these hours. I will go to the bank tomorrow to change the password. Good night.

Excellent service from everyone, from the security guard to the cashier, good directions and everything was very fast.
