Appalling service. on 30th December, they froze our account with no email or nothing. I went to login to pay our suppliers, and our money was just sitting there with just a note saying your acocunt is temporarily restricted. It is the 6th January, despite multiple attempts to contact them, all I am getting is "someone from our team will get back to you". I would highly recommend sticking to the high-street banks. We are a windscreen replacement business! UPDATE: It has been 2 days since I posted this review, and have had a request for information, I receive an email from Trustpilot requesting more information (I imagine on behalf of Allica's marketing team), however, they have not acknowledged nor done anything with this information. Our funds remain blocked, with zero information from Allica. The only response we have received is the attached screenshot. They believe that it is acceptable to freeze funds for 8 weeks, with no access to funds completely crippling your business. Compl

Worst experience I've ever had with a bank. It's a shame I have to give them even 1 star. We wanted to set up an account with them. Their relationship manager said this could be set up within days but then strung us along for weeks, asking for this, that and the next bit of documentation, with no clear indication of 1 full list of what they needed. Once we (my business) provided all the needful, they rejected our application because they didn't have the 'risk appetite'.......If an Education business is too risky, I fear they are either wasting peoples time or using the process to access confidential business information. I would not trust this bank and i would definitely not waste your time!

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. Since they updated their branding and reset the app, I’ve been completely locked out of my own account and unable to process salary payments. I contacted them immediately, but no solution has been provided. They promised to get in touch, yet I haven’t heard anything back. My emails go unanswered, and they don’t even pick up the phone. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when it affects my ability to manage critical financial tasks.

The most unprofessional and incompetent banking onboarding service I have ever experienced. Maria Khan was both rude and belligerent in her questioning claiming our current service provider is not a bank whilst demanding we provide things Allica was informed from the very beginning were either not available or non existent. Dragging what should be a relatively simple process out for over a month. They claim to be "different" from existing providers but in reality are more of the same if not worse in many respects. My view, Avoid.

I've been banking with Allica Business for a bit over a year now and I recently made a full switch from Starling Business due to the vast difference between the two banks in how they treat their customers. This bank is free and on top of that gives you 1% back on all transactions, and has a linked business savings account that pays 4.33%AER at the time of posting, I couldn't be happier. The only criticism I could give is that there is no way to search for transactions with a search function, you have to manually scroll which can be tedious, I have contacted customer service about this and I hope they add this feature soon.
