Since they moved to the other side of the Grove mall the service is terrible. There is no host to guide you to the correct place. You have longer waiting periods and there is too little seats in the waiting area for the consultants. 2/3 consultants available on Saturdays when the bank is at its busiest. Please upgrade your systems in order for the clients to get a ticket or have a host present at the front desk that is clearly allocated.

Aircon not working. Customer service system not clear. Nothing wrong with the facilities but there is no indication or person to tell you where the cue is, starts and ends. Had to ask some of the customers how the heck things work. Not efficient at all. Can do better ABSA Grove.

Deserves not even a single star. Their phones are not answered , voice prompt encourages you to hold . I held for 30minutes listening to student facilities.

Terrible customer service. Long lines of customers with only two staff members assisting. This is clearly a management issue and should be escalated to senior leadership. A generic “sorry for the inconvenience” response is not acceptable — this situation requires real action.

If i could give minus stars I would! I have finance with ABSA and I am beyond fed up. Why do we get asked to choose a debit order date if ABSA is just going to take the money whenever they feel like it? They move the debit order up to a week earlier with zero warning. And don’t even try call those last-minute messages “notifications.” A reminder the day before or the same day is NOT communication — it’s just ABSA telling you they already decided for you. This messes up people’s budgets, causes bounced payments, and honestly, it’s ridiculous. Respect the date we choose or stop pretending we have a choice. Sort it out.
