I made a booking online at the ABSA Branch for a new ID and passport. The process was very quick and took about 10minutes. It's a 1000% better and much faster than the Home Affairs Offices in Alberton. The staff members that were managing the Home Affairs section were very professional and helpful👌

The DHA branch section at the ABSA Bank is out of this world. I made an appointment to renew my ID, and both the application and the collection took less than 30 minutes. The collection was more like 10 minutes. The waiting area is comfortable, and you don't actually mind waiting. But you don't wait for too long. Someone will come and call you and attend to you very quickly. The process is just way more efficient than going to home affairs. I hope they have more functionality in the future.

It was my first time doing the international transfer and Sandy helped me a lot in regards of all the issues, he also managed to get my new card before going abroad. Specially thank you to him!

Office manager Rendani Tshifularo and her team are amazing I needed my passport sorted within 2months to go to Germany. And they went all out to ensure I got it on time. They are efficient and friendly.

Seeing the terrible reviews are a reflection of the actual bank itself when you arrive. No customer service, no one at the door to assist or guide you for support, no management of this branch. Wait ridiculous hours to be assisted and no car to help anyone. Fix your bank, fire your branch manager and car for your customers.
