Absa | Branch | Fourways Fourways View, cnr Witkoppen and Cedar Road Witkoppen

Absolutely disgusted with some of the staff at this branch! I recently updated my last Will and Testament and had it printed, and wanted to sign it with witnesses as soon as possible. I thought I’d l just walk over to the branch and get it done at the bank, with whom I’ve banked since ABSA opened in South Africa. The lady at the reception desk refused and told me it’s not an ABSA drafted Will. As an ABSA Private Banking Client I find this appalling! Anyone (over 14 years old) can literally be a witness and it would’ve taken two minutes of their time. I’m actually shocked and I should have taken her name. I’ll take this up with my Private Banker.

Hi this rating belongs to a marvelous consultant whom I heard her name is Thandiwe, after having negative assumptions about visiting brunches from the moment I got to speak with her, her customer service was honestly on point compared to most brunches I visited today.

they opened 8.30 which is useful, no que so early, staff was helpful once the systems were operational

Only visit an absa branch if you have an infinite amount of time on your hands! Everything moves in slow motion sometimes it actually feels like they are moving in reverse🙆‍♂️.

The 4 stars are for the one lady who was vibey, cheerful and happy. She had a little red bucket hat on and was at the far left of the customer service counter. The queue was insanely long, and I was in at 9am with 4 people already at the counter and 4 people ahead in the queue. The rest of the ABSA people at the counter could not move at a slower pace. One escorted people outside (part of the service), but oh my goodness, there was no sense of urgency in his walk when he walked back. He sauntered. And then disappeared for 10 minutes and reappeared. I did not get the lady's name but she will know who she is if she was at the customer service desk on the left (as seen from the queue) on Saturday 25 Jan 2025. Thank you. You made things pleasant and easy and you were quick. I left the branch at 20 past 10 having spent most of that time waiting. More people at the customer service desks please!
