My advisor provided excellent answers to all my questions. The phone conversation was pleasant, and she was very available and attentive to my needs.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, a client of this branch, who is facing an unacceptable situation. For over a week, we have tried to contact her advisor several times via urgent emails and calls. No response. Not a single call back, not even an acknowledgment of receipt. I personally went to the branch to move forward with an urgent matter. There, the advisor had the audacity to claim that she had called my sister, who has power of attorney over my mother's accounts, and left a voicemail, which is completely false (no record of the call or message). She also claimed to have requested the release of funds, but again, my mother received no notification or request for an electronic signature. This lack of responsiveness, combined with blatant lies and a haughty attitude, is unworthy of a local banking service. Under these circumstances, my mother is now considering closing her accounts. This branch exhibits very concerning behavior, fortunately not representative of the overall image of Banque Populaire. Despite being a stable client with a comfortable income – both personal and professional – I was greeted with suspicion and condescension. The questions asked were often inappropriate, sometimes bordering on insulting, and a certain disdain for clients of foreign origin was palpable. This complete lack of respect and professionalism led me to transfer all my accounts – mine, my wife's, and my business accounts – to the Mantes-la-Jolie branch, which, unlike the others, knows how to treat its clients with seriousness and consideration. I've been a customer since 2020. My various requests sent through my online account are processed within half a day, sometimes even in under an hour. When my advisor is on leave, her colleagues take over with the same responsiveness. It's a well-oiled machine, the interactions are friendly, and the staff is competent; I'm very satisfied. And for over-the-counter transactions, what a joy it is to no longer have to wait in long lines, unlike at the post office bank across the street!
