A terrible bank!! Never open a bank account here, not even for your children! You'll be sent from pillar to post if you want to close your bank account, with your money unnecessarily held for "weeks longer"!! Employees are incompetent and don't follow through on their email promises/agreements! Don't touch this bank!!!
I usually arrange everything online. Initially, I found it annoying when I found out I had to visit Regiobank to sign. Contrary to my expectations, I actually found this personal contact to be an added value. I received a very friendly welcome from Mr. F. Breugem, who briefly and clearly explained several matters to me. I had already spoken to Mr. Breugem on the phone several times, and by visiting the bank, I now had a face to face. Unlike (in my experience) with the "large" banks, Mr. Breugem, my contact, is easy to reach by phone. He's proactive and will return your calls quickly if necessary. At Regiobank, you're not just a number. You can continue banking with this bank online. So, it's the best of both worlds.
