I came in for a notarization request and waited on the couch for about 10 minutes before a banker greeted me, letting me know that the only gentleman who handles notarizations was currently busy but would help me shortly. I then waited another 10 minutes with no update. When I walked up to the window, ask the notarization gentleman who was no longer busy, but he told me they weren’t doing notarizations today and suggested I go to the Draper branch instead. When I asked if this happens every Thursday, he said it was just “today of this week.” That part felt strange. It gave me the impression he simply didn’t want to help me. I understand staff may be busy or short-handed, but a clearer sign, honesty or upfront communication would’ve saved me 20 minutes of waiting. Overall, not a great customer experience for something that should have been simple.

Mark Hics helped me resolve an issue through his branch and made it right. He is the best branch manager I have ever interacted with. He was very down to earth and personable. He is someone I would want to for, and is a great asset to your company.

The manager Mark is the best. I needed a notary last minute the day before a long weekend. I showed up without an appointment and he was more than happy to help me out. I also needed to move some money between my accounts which racked up a ton of fees. Mark not only helped me with the transfers but also waived some of the fees to make things right. Everyone else in the branch has also been extremely helpful. I hate doing things in person but if I really had to, this is exactly the level of service I would expect.

We had a great experience this morning with this bank: we had a hard time getting a hold of a notary by calling around to various banks, so we decided to walk in to this bank and see if we might just get lucky. It turns out we did. We were able to get some complex and long documents notarized on a whim by their notary/manager, who was very polite and patient with us. We would absolutely come back here and are grateful that they were able to accommodate us on short notice.
