I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the Wells Fargo branch in Salt Lake City, specifically due to the unprofessional behavior of the branch manager, Ally. During my visit, I chose to handle my banking needs at the ATM rather than speaking with a banker. However, due to a severe snowstorm, I needed to make an important legal call regarding a financial authorization while inside the completely empty branch. There were no other customers the entire time I was there. I was on this call for no more than 10 minutes, yet despite that, four employees repeatedly interrupted me, asking if I needed help. I politely told them that I would let them know once my call was finished. Instead of respecting that, they kept disrupting me over and over, showing a complete lack of professionalism and basic etiquette. The worst part was the branch manager, Ally. She saw that I was clearly on a call, yet she deliberately interrupted me while I was speaking. This is not just rude but completely unac

The ATM machine does not work. I put my card in 3 times, and it rejected it for so reason. Please fix your ATM machine.

The teller, Chris, wasn’t very nice at first when I tried depositing rolls of coins and told me to wait in the waiting area after I had been waiting in line for a while so other people could be helped first. Another banker, who was very kind, came by and helped out after I said I was told to wait and helped sort it out with the teller. She was a bit nicer afterwards, but still… this is the only location so far where depositing coins seemed to be more of an issue than it needed to be.

Negative stars should be a thing. PSA--in this economy, sometimes you need a little compassion. Don't look for it at "Poo-Smells Fargo, where your money go?" I want everyone to know that if you fall behind on your credit card from Wells Fargo, and you finally are able to put some money in the bank -- they will take it ALL. They DO NOT care about you. Be VERY careful about banking with this greedy company who will take your RENT, FOOD & SURVIVABILITY money if you fall on hard times.

Jessie the banker was rude and gave me so much attitude. He accused me of committing fraud while trying to reactivate my blocked card (trying to buy crypto at 1 AM) after I had provided 5 different proofs of id. He kept on complaining to the fraud line about not being sure about my documents, but all info was there. Had my card on me, gave my PIN, etc. I kept my calm the entire time, tried to explain the info he had on my country's form of id was wrong (he's never been to my country lol). He mentioned he didn't want to help because of how I kept pushing back (meaning I was trying to explain he was wrong and to Google our form of ID while never raising my voice and being calm). So much bad attitude from this guy, not professional at all. Fraud line gave the ok (after everything I provided cause thank Gosh they are reasonable). He never apologized, I said thank you very calmly, he didn't said anything, just a bunch of negative attitude and unprofessionalism.
