Westpac Invercargill 25 Esk Street Invercargill

The ATM / Change machine is never working. Two staff members to man the main desk, and there’s normally only 1 person at a time. Flash new upgrade to downgrade their services.

Since Westpac in Invercargill decided to relocate to Esk Street and close Windsor branch they have been hemorrhaging on customer service. The frequently long queues at times often go all the way into the HWR building by lifts area and block internal access flow into the space that houses their ATM & change machines at other times which I may add are frequently out of order, sometimes the staff aren't even aware the machines have failed and still send customers to them until being told they are OOO (out of order) interesting to note when the queue is long they frequently only have one staff member actually attending at the counter. Clearly Westpac don't want you bothering them with face to face interaction and prefer you to serve yourself at their ATM's the very machines that are OOO frequently. They are so dedicated and insisting that their mannerism and rudeness insist you have to use the ATM and when they are there instructing (the senior members in our community) you hear openly t

I have been a customer for 40+ yrs & have had to visit the Invercargill branch a few times in the past year. Each time there has been a cue of some length, today I was there for 54 minutes, 30 mins in the cue the rest being served. The staff were great. The problem is the Westpac bank itself. One teller closed while processing a clients paperwork,holding up the cue, could she not work at another terminal while someone else serves. it makes me feel like taking my business elsewhere

I went to the bank to open a bank account for my mum, who recently came to NZ. I have booked an appointment. Jess is amazing, she helped my mum to setup bank account and gave her present. Thank you so much Jess for your kindness!

Went to get my 2 teenagers cash flow cards to be told no you have to make an appointment. I had to take kids out of school drive 20mins to be told no. So went back home went to kiwibank within 10mins my 2 teenagers had bank accounts an cards so thanku kiwibank! I have been with westpac my whole life think it's time for a change
