Westpac Hastings 101 Queen Street East Hastings

Call center is very poor. I realise that the call center is not at this branch, but the call center number is what is given for this branch on google. On this occasion, I hung up after waiting for someone to answer for 38 minutes. I can't remember ever having called the call center and not hanging on for these kinds of times. At a previous occasion when also failing to get someone on the phone, I drove to the branch instead, but the queue was to the door and not showing any signs of moving. I had to leave after running out of time. EDIT: The call center is great lately.

We were recently scammed through an online shopping service. Westpac expect us to attempt communication with said scammers before assisting us. CRAZY.

I have been waiting in line to pick up documents. Staff are coming from offices and there is only 2 on a counter. Have been here 25 mins. Don’t go into this bank
