Totally useless bank ever! Trying to get in touch with the bank staff especially Halmstad branch is completely nightmare.. I strongly urged the Swedbank Headquarters/ branch should do something about these issues especially involve with customer services and availability , so customers don’t get frustrated of the time wasted .
My "experience" with this bank began on February 27th, when I went to open an account. The employee asked me to fill out a form and provide the necessary documents. She informed me that the processing of my application could take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks, and if they needed additional information, they would contact me. A week and a half later, on March 7th, I received my employment contract and decided to submit it to the bank in hopes of speeding up the process. A few days later, I received a call from the bank, but I missed it. I decided to visit the branch in person to find out what was going on. After checking my ID, the employee returned and told me that "nothing is needed." The question is: why did they call me and waste my time if they didn’t need anything? Weeks three, four, and five passed — complete silence. On April 7th (the start of week six), I visited the branch again, explaining that my employer wanted to transfer my salary but couldn’t do so without my Swedish bank
It takes 8 weeks to open a bank account. There are no means of communication with the bank, you must visit their banks. I have tried all the available numbers but hey dont work. They havent sent me my bank card on the pre-aggreed time and now that I have moved out of Sweden I cant reach them.
Impossible to contact. Have company account in Halmstad Swedbank and it is worst mistake i did! Sitting on the phone for hours, and still no one to speak with.
Been a member with Swedbank for 5 years. First experience in this one with halmstad. It was a bad enough experience to consider moving to another bank.
