Horrible customer service, even speaking Japanese they didn’t let me open an account. The old lady denied me from the start

This bank is very foreigner friendly. They have English speaking staff. They were also very timely when I went there.

It's located in the same building as Aman Tokyo. I received rude and condescending service from a man in his late 50s at the reception desk. From his tone, it seemed like he thought it was because I was dealing with an individual customer, not a corporation, but I wonder why someone like that was at the reception. The young female staff member next to him provided excellent service, quickly guiding me to the escalator, and all the other staff members were kind and polite. I've never experienced or seen such unpleasant service at any other Mizuho Bank branch.

You can take a shuttle bus here. It's also very close to the Otemachi subway station. There's an ATM on the first floor and other service counters on the second floor. The building is very clean and attractive. Transactions are processed quickly. It's also very close to the Bank of China Otemachi branch.

They were very polite and provided wonderful service, with both flowers and fruit. I can't thank them enough. It's a little busy, so it might be best to allow yourself plenty of time.
