The lady at the lottery counter was very friendly and cute, and said to me, "I hope you win the lottery!", which made my trip very pleasant. I didn't win the lottery ticket, but I'll buy one here again next time I come.
Contrived customer service. Contrived expressions. Contrived manuals. It's a rare experience, as if talking to a robot. No matter what you ask, they just keep saying, "Nothing happens." I feel like the atmosphere of this bank wouldn't be much different even if all the staff were real robots. Subjectively, the defining feature of this branch is All the employees seem to have dead, lifeless eyes (no life whatsoever). They seem to treat their work like a mere chore. I'm put off by this atmosphere. Therefore, I recommend not working at this branch. From the moment you enter the branch, you're greeted by a robot at the reception desk, and you also have to talk to a completely impersonal teller. The wait times are incredibly long, and every time I feel like I never want to go back. Unfortunately, this is the only branch in Yamanashi Prefecture. I avoid going if possible, but if you must go, I highly recommend planning your visit with ample time and a strong resolve, as if you're going o
The ladies at the lottery counter these days are about five levels below the women at other counters. They can't even say basic things like "I hope you win big" or "Sorry to keep you waiting." If the ladies at the counter in front of the prefectural assembly building were rated 100 points, the ladies at this counter would probably get about a 2. Even if I were to win a big lottery ticket, I wouldn't deposit it at Mizuho Bank's Kofu branch. I plan to have the money transferred to an account at another bank. The security guards directing tickets to the parking lot are excellent, though.
It's fine for the staff to stand up and say "Welcome" before assisting the customer, but please stop congratulating them. This is Japan. Shouldn't you place your hands lower than in front of your stomach? If there's a desk, do your hands come to your stomach? It's way too high. Your elbows are too pointed. It's really uncomfortable. I wonder if this is a rule for all stores? The information desk staff don't seem to be trying to understand. That's also unpleasant!
There's a MUJI sticker stuck on the ATM for a long time. It seems like the bank staff here don't even clean the ATM.
