It seems that Mizuho Bank these days finds customers with deposits of just a few million to be a nuisance. The local regional bank is kinder and more polite. I occasionally go to the branch I used when I lived in Tokyo to fill out my account details. Even when I go to the counter to update my passbook, the service is always good and I'm impressed. It's no wonder this is a branch of one of Japan's leading city banks.

I have no complaints about the bank staff, but they no longer provide parking tickets, so it now costs money to go by car. I'm thinking of changing my main bank to another one soon.
