Even though their bank had an old-fashioned appearance, they actually provide incredibly fast service. I was able to get my task done within five minutes! ❤️ I have other bank accounts. I'm thinking of closing all my accounts and choosing HNB Bank for all my transactions

The staff are very friendly and helpful in this branch. However, the process is very slow. It took me 1 and half hours to open a Bank account. Senior Managers kept the poor junior officer who was taking care of the form run around between their desks back and forth. The process needs to be a bit clear and straightforward so it'll save time for both the staff and customers.

Recently visited HNB Bank in Rajagiriya to cash a cheque, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. It took an excruciatingly long 45 minutes to complete a simple transaction at the front counter. The staff appeared disinterested and lacked the friendliness one expects in a service-oriented environment. As the face of the organization, the behavior of the front counter staff left much to be desired. Their lack of efficiency and unfriendliness created a negative impression, tarnishing the overall service quality of the bank. Such a disappointing encounter certainly marks a black spot on an otherwise reputed institution. Hoping for improved service standards in the future.

Unfriendly staff. We had to wait until they finish their chats. They don't care until you say ' excuse me miss'. Visited there to check balance and settle credit card, routed me to three counters and finally said we can't check balance here and use hotline number. Why the hell you couldn't say that on first counter.
