I had the worst experience with CIMB Bank Putrajaya on 14 November 2025, at around 1.00pm to 1.30pm. The receptionist lady who was on duty that day at the ticket number counter rejected me from obtaining a ticket to open a saving account. She questioned me why would I wanted to open a CIMB saving account. I responded to her that I wanted to buy Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) CIMB, so I need to open a saving account (which would facilitate me on doing online banking transaction). She told me off, to do it online with other bank accounts, and refused to give me a ticket number. What kind of customer service is that? Push the client and investor away? There are so many other banks there that I can buy PRS, I would never come back again!
Bad experience, even after reading all these comments, the bank has no initiative to improve. Not customer oriented although there ia no crowd at all. The person at counter ask me to get no under account opening, but i m not opening an account, i m here regarding my society account. So i took customer service instead. Got called but the person direct me to another staff at the side table. So i approach once her customer left, was told to give name, (mind u, i have unique name) but apparently she has so many customers in queve, and she didnot even take note of my name or other customers who approch her afterwards. As if she can remember everyone and their queve number. This is so different from my exeperience in cimb tmn connaught where we were given numbers n called by number, not by name
Not deserve any star. Siapa branch manager, baik tutup je. Come here to open account, all need to be printed, bill air and api as well? Really? Worst!
Came to do bank drafts. No parking around here, so had to park by the roadside. There would be a queue at the number counter before entering. There was only small space for the queue, so proper social distancing was hard to be maintained. Settled 2 bank drafts in 20minutes (excluding the time queueing to get the number). The service was quite good by a malay female staff, and the manager. Overall good experience this time. I had a very bad experience with a malay male staff previously who i found very rude. Good there he was not around this time.
Coin deposit machine down. Now I understand why people prefer card and QR payments
