wallawei this cimb branch is no joke la i tell you. come here at 2pm cus i know there will be a friday prayer so i come early and by the time its 2.30pm i shpuld probably get to do all my business. but you know what the staff here tell me (the security) “tak boleh. harini tak boleh” then i thought oh maybe the staff tak datang but he continued “dia pergi solat jumaat, 3pm or 3.45 baru sampai, maybe tak masuk langsunh” hahaha… this is the standard ke ? and guess what ? NONE OF THE MALE BANKERS COME YA 😛 i guess Firday is a half day for cimb

Very poor service and proud staff. All staffs includes the security should attend the customer service courses and behaviour correction. Customers do not owe them such behaviour.

Visited this CIMB branch first time on 25 Sep. It was a weekday and the branch was not crowded. The visit was an attempt to open a new bank account and we were very quickly assigned to meet a bank staff. Her name is Sofiah and we later realised she was the branch manager. We had an extremely welcoming experience and Sofiah was very kind to explain the various requirements on establishing a new account. We went thru the process which was relatively lengthy but we believe it was due to regulatory compliance. More importantly, Ms Sofiah helped us through and made it relatively painless. Sofiah even recommended us to consider taking up a FD type of investment which yielded a lot better returns than the regular FD which we visited her a week later to get it processed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to open a CIMB account to make use of the service at this branch.

I came to the bank to open an account and was completely shocked by the level of service. One of the bank officials addressed me in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner, questioning my presence and intentions as if I had done something wrong. Instead of feeling welcomed as a potential customer, I felt like I was being interrogated. The tone and attitude were more fitting for a police station than a customer-facing financial institution. It was a deeply uncomfortable experience that left a very negative impression of the bank.

I always appreciate CIMB. But this branch is just out of it. They know their officer for financing is on maternity leaves. Yet, the branch manager didnt even think to coordinate or plan to get any replacement for this period. As in their colleague is on leave, for sure the other staff won’t take the job haha. But what frustrating me is that the staff not even sorry for the inconvenience caused. This team needs to be trained, maybe can arrange a seminar or workshop on how to handle clients. Cheers! Hopefully all will be good after this
