Usually, we come in and it goes pretty well, oddly enough, because we're served by men. Today, I walk into the branch and see a female advisor on the left looking me up and down, as if I owed her money or something. Anyway, I go to the teller to make a withdrawal and, while I'm at it, ask for a change to an insurance policy. The advisor at the teller tells me I have to go to one of the two offices. Meanwhile, my husband arrives, and wouldn't you know it, we run into the same woman who gave me that dirty look when we came in. We explain what we want to do, but she pretends not to understand my Darija, even though I speak it perfectly well! When I start speaking to her more simply, she finally understands. So we wait. And wait. And wait... A good 15 minutes to leave without any changes to our insurance policy. In short, once again, this confirms to me that from the outset, an unpleasant and embittered advisor should be avoided.
I live in France and have had a BMCE bank account for seven years. For the past three years, I've been requesting access codes to manage my account online. I've never received a response. In October 2023, during the All Saints' Day holiday, I took my whole family with me. Knowing I had 130,000 dirhams in my account, I withdrew a small amount. I then learned that my account had been locked since April 2023, six months prior. Without my knowledge, my account was hacked, and 120,000 dirhams were withdrawn by scammers. Seeing that I wasn't responsible for these transfers, they only blocked the account belatedly. In a single day, there were five transactions of 20,000 dirhams each. When I asked the branch manager for an explanation... No response from them and no advice on how to recover my money. Few employees, and they're often absent, even though the agency is in the city center. I'm seriously considering changing.
One star because I can't give zero. Avoid this agency at all costs. I think the agents are ghosts. They don't respond to my emails or appointment requests. They're even blocking my request to transfer my account. You've lost a customer. You managed to make me leave after several years.
Extremely poor service and unfriendly staff! You're from abroad, need your money, and they simply don't help you. What terrible service! I'm immediately withdrawing my money and going to another bank with better service. This is absolutely unacceptable!
