Bendigo Bank Warton Road Shop 2, The Vale Shopping Centre Canning Vale City of Gosnells

AVOID THIS BRANCH! The service at this branch is non-existent. The branch manager hides away in her office and will not deal with you if you have a problem or complaint, she simply handballs you off to her next in charge, he goes by the name 'Ash' and he is even worse! This review does not reflect Bendigo bank as a whole, JUST THIS BRANCH. I live in Canning Vale and if time permits I travel to Bendigo Bank in either Forrestfield or Byford, the service is exceptional. Each of those branches have informed me after seeing my details that there is a branch closer to me in Canning Vale and suggest that it may be easier to visit there, I have explained why I do not go there and this seems to be a very common trend, I am not isolated as a customer who refuses to go to Bendigo Bank in Canning Vale. As you will no doubt see, the service is so poor that this review will not even get a reply from this branch, it will just get ignored like every other complaint they receive and nothing will change

I’ve had numerous problems with this branch in recent years. Trying to change signatories on bank accounts has been a nightmare and required numerous visits as they’ve lost paperwork. I tried to order a card for a business account; they instead ordered a replacement card for my own account and cancelled my perfectly good card - which took over 5 weeks with weekly follow ups to sort out. I also enquired about a service listed on the website and they knew nothing about it..! Nearly every time I’ve been in the branch, which last year was quite regularly, someone else was complaining about similar stuff ups in their accounts. I used to recommend Bendigo Bank but I don’t anymore. I’ve submitted complaints and never had anyone from the branch follow up.

An absolute horrible bank to deal with. Lack of service, support and time taken for menial tasks is a disgrace.

Yesterday I went to Canning Vale Bendigo Bank with my elderly mother to open a new account for her. We stood and waited for 5 minutes before being addressed by anyone. There were 3 staff sitting in the front office and only 1 was dealing with a customer. I was addressed and when I said I wanted to open a bank account for mum I was told I couldn’t I needed to make an appointment. There were too many customers coming from Bankwest. We had driven for 30 minutes to go to this branch. I have never been so angry with a business. Their attitude was appalling. I have worked in a bank and other customer service rolls and would never treat my customers like this. As a Bendigo Bank customer I am absolutely amazed that this is acceptable service by the branch manager. My advice would be to find another branch!!

*** 3 weeks plus to open an account here! *** Walked in to inquire about opening an account and was delighted to be served immediately. The teller said I would need to make an appointment to do this. No problem - I expected this. But then I was told the earliest date was over 3 weeks away! Thinking they must have too many customers I said "Thanks - but no thanks" and walked out.
