Bendigo Bank 39-51 Kingsway Glen Waverley

This post was long overdue (5months ago) I initially had a positive impression with Paul as he was referred to by my accountant, but the experience quickly went downhill. He became unresponsive, rarely answered calls, and constantly gave excuses (such as the team is checkin on the application). This poor communication caused more than a month’s delay with no clear progress on my home loan. Out of frustration, I went with another bank and had my loan approved in just two weeks. Very disappointing experience.

I feel Bendigo bank must lift there game. I’ve been banking with these guys for many years. Last month the pinewood branch where I had been banking closed with no warning at all . Just sent me an email saying we are closed immediately that’s it. I have a fair amount in term deposits so it was a worry. Today is the 22 nd of sept 2025 at 9.45 am and I’ve just walked into the Glen Waverley branch to bank funds and was approached by an older female teller with no etiquette at all no smile no good morning nothing. She just looks at me and says can I help you I said I would like to bank some money .she says no deposits today’s and just points at a sign. Very rude and unprofessional. I’m very close to withdrawing all of my funds and closing my accounts. Very disappointing Bendigo bsnk

This is the first time I have come to a bank branch and was told they don’t have capacity to deal with credit card application and ask me to call other branches and ask for their capacity. 😳😳 They can take my application but would need a month to review and interview me. Very surprised to hear that, I guess this bank branch is not interested to have new customers using their credit card then. note: I tried applying online but was told to still go to branch instead. I guess for others, please call this branch before spending time to go down and deal with them.

i just withdrew some cash and had my id ready but the lady didn't even ask for it. it's so scary how they can just give a bunch of cash without confirming id after i told them my account number.

The staff there are new and not well trained. It took me 40 mins to set up an account and not working properly. Disappointed customer service as well. The staff just talk to each other hide behind the computer monitor like in sort of party in the bank
