Month end 1 teller on duty while we sit and play musical chairs shifting 1 seat every 15 Min. We have things to do however spending the morning getting pathetic service. Where do our banking fees go, definitely not on improving customer service... Absolutely shocking. ABSA the Glen stay away I suggest you try find another branch that has better customer service, if that is possible. Afticanasity 😂😂😂 what a joke.

I would like to give a shout out to Melita for her excellent service! She ensured that everything was done before I left, even making calls to her IT support to assist. It took a while but she was patient, pleasant and helpful. She is definitely an asset to your branch.

I have a love–hate relationship with Absa Bank, where I’ve personally banked for the past 25 years, but today I have to give you your flowers. I visited the branch today (08 Jan 26 @ 11:45) to open a MEGA U account for my daughter and received the most amazing service from a male consultant. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but I want to commend the bank for the experience. From the moment I walked in and was directed where to go, to the consultant coming to collect me where I was seated (not an automated system calling my number), it was genuinely refreshing service. I actually moved my daughter’s account from Nedbank out of frustration with poor service, and I’m not disappointed.

Considering the enquiries department covers alot of banking functions , it's shocking that there is one consultant at 13.36 on a Friday afternoon, with a line 7 clients . Please can the team resources around lunchtime be better planned Fast forward , issued a card that was not properly set up after told that my old settings were "carried over " Back in the line only to be told that I have to wait in the line behind 8 clients . No one else in the branch can assist to check the settings on the cards.

It's okay for now, I am still utilising this bank.... but not the same like it was before. Most of the employees are not as customer oriented as the other banks. Edit (May 9, 2024): I have rated this branch a 5 star because they now deserve it, not only for their new revamped image but also for the topnotch customer service rendered. I'm happily impressed with everything at this branch.
