I’m highly impressed with the quality of service delivery provided by my Absa bank South gate. The staff are always professional, friendly, and ready to assist with any inquiries. What stands out most is the Absa commitment to customer satisfaction — from quick problem resolution to personalized service that makes every visit or call worthwhile. Their consistent communication, transparency, and dedication to improving services show a true understanding of what customers need.

Please train your staff(South gate branch), especially security personnel, to treat customers and their companions with respect. Being asked to leave the bank while quietly waiting for someone being assisted inside was unnecessary and felt dismissive, very rude. If there are specific policies about companions waiting inside, they should be communicated clearly and respectfully not enforced by chasing people out without proper explanation.

The service at this branch is terrible, the staff at this branch don't have any care for customer service at all. On the 14th of November 2024,I accompanied my 62 year old mom and her two club members to the branch to go sort out their club account. We arrived at the branch at 10:00 and only left the branch at 13:50. No knew or was willing to assist them. Two tellers couldn't assist them passed them on to a consultant ,who just gave them false information about their account. The last person they dealt with after hours of being this terrible branch tried her best to retain them by rectifying what was wrong on the account, further elaborated the benefits and disadvantages of the club account. I would suggest they just cancel their account. Even the security guard has awful mannerisms. If you value your time, sanity and are passionate about customer service avoid this bank and South Gate branch at all cost. Poor customer service at its best. South Gate mall in general has the worst servi
