Trying to close a deceased account is a real pain. Had no problems with their other accounts in other banks, but Bendigo keeps asking for more and more certified paperwork. Looks like stall tactics so they think you will give up and just let it go. Would have given no stars if I could. Even have trouble getting them to answer the phone... Not good enough..

It is extremely frustrating when you take time out of a busy work day to dash to the bank, to find it closed in the middle of the day. This is 2022 - surely Bendigo Bank can work out how to staff a branch so that is doesn't randomly close for lunch breaks?! I will be moving my accounts to a more reliable Bank.

Think I'll be changing banks. Absolutely sick of trying to deposit money for my business when I have to wait 30 minutes in line because there is only one person on. With a line up reaching the door..

Website indicates the branch is open to 5.00 pm, however there is a sign on the door that says “closed between 1 pm and 2 pm for lunch”! Staff should be able to stagger lunch breaks to enable customers that work between 9 am and 5 pm to attend to their banking during their 1 pm to 2 pm lunch breaks. Security should not be the excuse noting the availability of CCTV and private security companies.
