Chase Bank 253 Broadway Manhattan

I just went into the bank to do a wire transfer, becuase I have the closing of my house, and they told me that I have to wait 45 to 60 minutes to do a simople wire transfer, otherwise to go to another branch. That is unacceptable!!! I have a Sapphire account with more than 100K in my checking and I am treated this way??!?!?! They are suppose to help me, according to Chase policies. They cannot send you away, nor tell you to wait 45 to 60 mintes for a simple wire. They are suppose to accomodate you and help you. It is a shame how the company allows this bad behavior and also how these type of bankers can still work in the bank. I am expecting a big check from the sale of my house, I am not going to Chase, the service is very bad and NO ONE does their job, nor the manager, nor the bankers, I was sent away and you don't do it with your clients, especially when the client is a former Private Banker at Chase. Do your job, treat your clients the right way, Do the right thing for your clients

Tim, one of their wealth team mgrs, was extremely rude and dismissive. There are nicer ways to tell someone “we only do this for Wealth Mgmt customers”, vs attack someone for not being a client. Why am I not a client with you? Take a guess. Avoid this branch.

I love Chase bank, but this office has terrible customer service, I do not recommend using it. I had an appointment scheduled with Betty Chan for 4.30-5pm. I came at 4.40pm and was told that she took another client. Waited for 20 more minutes and spoke with Rafid (manager on duty), but I still was not helped and was only blamed for being late. Unfortunately, I had to leave and find another place for more reliable service.

I visited this exact branch today 05/14/2024 , i was greeted at the door by the person with whom i had an appointment , the place has an excellent atmosphere of great hospitality in form of greetings and smiles , wether entering the facility or leaving it. The comments weren’t very motivating when i read them but i still decided to try this branch. I received service from CARLA JIMENEZ , and she was excellent, she assisted me in opening a checking account , applying for a credit card , and offered me the best service i could have ever asked for. An excellent person with excellent manners and customer service, explained everything and showed excellent skills of communication and knowledge. Great person , great banker and a very good communicator. Mind you the branch was 45 minutes away from my home, and there’s another branch 5 minutes away from me , but still i took the adventure and would definitely take the time to do it again. All around pleasant experience at this Chase branch. I was greeted at entrance by Kathy who was extremely helpful and takes customer service seriously. Kathy set me up with Keith to resolve my account issues quickly. I’ve been a Chase customer for over 10 years and it’s because of employees like Kathy and Keith. 👍
