Judging by the ‘Test Reply’ to my review, you can understand how effective they are. Update: I closed my account! The lady at the front desk was quick and helpful this time. Still one star for wasting so much of my time over the years. Original: Absolute nightmare. I wish I never had an account here. I have unsuccessfully tried to close a ‘travelers card’ upsold to me for over 4 years and transfer my balance to my associated account. The amount of unnecessary paperwork and inconvenience created for customers is incredible. Go literally anywhere else.

The manager of this bank sri lakshmi is the most inconsiderate and least empathetic person you can ever meet. After telling her that my father had passed away just a day ago, she insisted we paid or "we would never get any help from any bank". Is this what the world has come to? No humanity? No empathy towards the deceased. This is the worst bank and everyone we know regrets having made an account here. Kindly look into it and make sure this lady gets no such job

They link wrong number to wrong accounts they . They say some other branch linked it so they can’t change KYC done here are reckless people be careful cos fraudulent activities happens inside the branch

One of the worst central government Bank. I don't understand for what joy the staff of this bank gets paid. Whatever requests you give for KYC update, address change, debit card issue, phone number updates: they ask us to submit the filled form and will keep the form aside and will never do that task. The branch contact telephone number given on the passbook isn't working. The telephone number customer care provided number is also not working. Approached head office, they said branch will get in touch but the branch never contacted me. Customer care is asking me to visit the branch again, for which I have apply for one day leave again. This the most frustrating bank ever! Now I have reached out to RBI, hoping they would intervene and help.

I have visited this branch, to open joint savings account. I went and asked for the application, the bank staff told me to show the Aadhaar cards mandatory to give application. I did not had the Aadhaar cards while visiting the bank. I went to home and brought the cards and showed to bank staff who is in-charge of opening bank accounts., I wonder he was too busy or just acting like busy not bother to respond, he was verifying the address, without any interest. Told me to show it to other person, who is sitting next to him, she saw that and told me its not possible to open an joint account has other applicant address in the Aadhaar are different location (although its from Bangalore) and mine was from same place with valid Aadhaar and other id proofs. Wondering to open a joint account does it really have to be same address of both the applicants. I am not sure about it, If so, the way they have respond was too bad, irresponsible and unprofessional. Wondering how they got the bank job.
