I have very bad experience with the ICICI Bank where my wife and my daughter have Joint saving account with Goregaon East Branch near Shaugan Mall.She had requested for cheque book facilities for transaction around two weeks back. Since it did not reach within reasonable time she accompanied me to visit the branch last week where she was informed she would be receiving it at the registered address with next 3/4 days.But since it was not received even after waiting for few more days a call was made to the bank on 21.10.25 on the issue but to her surprise it informed that chaque book is put to parcel locker since 19th Nov 25 without physical delivery or even informing her abt the unilateral acion in keeping same with bank locker while it was required to be delivered to residence address as per rule. I am extremely disappointed with how this issue has been handled and am now reconsidering my banking relationship with icici bank Bank. Charges was deducted for a credit card that had already expired, with no replacement card issued. On contacting customer care, I was informed that the charge was "auto-renewed by the system" and was further blamed for the issue. My request to speak to a supervisor was denied. To be very clear: "System auto-renewal" is not a valid explanation Customers cannot be charged for a service that is expired new card not delivered to me and unusable Refusing escalation is a serious lapse in customer grievance handling This is especially concerning given the regulatory restrictions under which the bank has been operating with respect to credit cards. I had an extremely disappointing experience with ICICI Bank’s Sapphiro Credit Card. I was clearly told that spending ₹6 lakh+ in a year would result in the annual fee being waived. Despite meeting this criterion (₹6.1 lakh+ verified from bank statements), the annual fee was still charged and not reversed. ICICI Bank later cited “excluded transactions” that were never disclosed at the time of issuance or are on their official website (see screenshot). Attempts to get a clear explanation and reversal have been ignored, and the customer service responses have been vague and unhelpful. For a long-term customer (6+ years with timely payments with my Platinum Card), this lack of transparency, refusal to honor communicated waiver terms, and poor handling of the issue has been very disappointing. I’m still pursuing resolution and reporting this to the RBI Ombudsman and public forums.

ICICI Bank lacks customer empathy, especially for retail customers. They don't have respect for long standing relationships. They talk about 'rules' despite ignoring 'rules' while sanctioning loan to Videocon. They have the most idiotic customer service. Its disgraceful and disgusting.
