National Bank of Oman (NBO) - Branch Al Khoudh Branch, Khoudh Souq Muscat Muscat Governorate

Finally found a machine that can accept cheques and despite have 2 machines, neither of them works! Tried many times to deposit the cheques but it kept locking me out!

07th April, 2024 - 10:05 a.m. Sorry to mention - Pathetic experience. Do not opt this place for cheque deposit. Personal experience took over 65 mins and still waiting for system to reboot. Neither the bank staff nor the manager is bothered about the number of people waiting outside. Though the staff wanted to accept the cheques manually, the lady Branch Manager just denied ditching us all who waited patiently for over an hour. Is this what you call customer service?????? The management should find an alternative if the system is taking too long.

This bank has no respect to people with disabilities or to customers at all. They have zero. Morals and they. Don’t have any skills related to customer service and helping customers. I do not recommend for anyone especially people with disabilities to come to this branch. Employees at the bank don’t know their jobs and they simply are talking to each other. There is no management at the branch and no systematic way of handling customers. The bank needs to train the employees better at this branch, they are disgrace to the bank and to Oman.

NBO like all banks in Oman, useless and you would be wasting your time in every possible way. I called before going , then after waiting 40 min , they have asked for a "Printed copy" of the electricity bill. I noted I have the soft copy which I could share , but No No No ,go look for a print shop , print and come tomorrow!!!! Just amazing how Low the customer service level in the banks. OHH THE numbering machine was not functional so I was waiting while all staff were free doing nothing and didn't say a word ( I was the only one waiting after a while ) . NBO staff in Al Khoud branch are unprofessional and honestly won't recommend to open an account there. But as usual, no other good banks in Oman , all like a vegetable markets honestly so... 🤷

Very slow service , make excuses like internet is slow , come tomorrow system not working , can't handle customer .
