QIB Al Sadd Branch Suhaim bin Hamad Street Zone no: Building no: 84

I wish that I never get to open my savings account with this branch. I have not used my account as I was travelling and studying abroad, however when i did got back, my bank account went " Dormant". Makes sense if i haven't made any transaction. However when I did went to the bank and try to make it active again. I was initially told that my name doesn't match and that i need to change the name on my QID. That process alone took me 6-8 weeks when the teller mentioned that it would take a few hours. After that when my name was thankfully changed and i received my new QID, the bank still didn't opened my account saying I need salary certificate and prove that the money in my account is mine. I brought the documents proofing that the money is mine and still it is taking the bank almost 4 weeks now to make my account active again. I have made roughly 7-8 trips to the bank for this issue alone, every time I call customer services I am told to wait 3 working days until my account is "active"

You are not helping people. Ok? Especially this ramadan and with the tensions because of the war. We have cheque from Awqaf and you dont want to encash it. You need savings account and unfortunately we only have paycard!! You are not helping people!!

The worst customer service ever I had in my life. Staff name Saleh Doleh very unprofessional attitude , disrespectful & keeping irrelevant personal information in my account !!! He changed my profession from doctor to media , kept different QID under my personal information. I just wanted to open a simple account for salary transfer ! Admin should look into poor quality of customer service & waste of time.

They never give you a solution, they only tranfer you to another branch.
