Customer Service is a joke or non-existent. I filed a claim to initiate a chargeback from a fake webshop. Messages on the app keep sending me in circles, asking me for an itemized bill and to try to resolve the issue with the "seller". Employees on the phone seem unable or unwilling to help, sending me back to messaging on their app.

Terrible service, I advice everybody to stay as far as possible away from any Barclays service. They desperately try to "digitalize" every single interaction but fail miserably. The simplest website interactions do not work as they should. If you then need to get in touch with them via telephone/ in person you are completely lost. As long as everything works in their digital space you might have a acceptable finance product but when the day comes when you need their personal contact you are completely lost. In such a sensitive area like financials you need somebody to rely on and Barclays is definitely the wrong partner here.

I am extremely disappointed by this app. Every time I attempt to make an online transaction the vendor confirms they have forwarded payment request to the Barclays app but I receive NO authorisation request. Please fix this problem. My WISE credit card IMMEDIATELY forwards me an authorisation request when I use it regardless of whether I have the app open or not. With Barclays I go to the trouble of opening the app in advance, log in and I still receive NO authorisation request. I will cancel my account if you don't fix this. It's fraud.

It's one trick after the other. Transactions are not clear and how can you charge me 2€ for just activate automatically payments? It's really a robbery
