Comerica moved its headquarters from Detroit to Dallas in 2007 but kept its Michigan charter and customer base, so it operates meaningfully in Michigan, Texas, California, Arizona and Florida. Its SWIFT code still reflects the old Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit lineage.
