rude staff, very disappointed.
Today, November 12, 2025, my girlfriend and I went to open a non-resident bank account (she's from Colombia and I'm from Argentina). Andrea helped us with incredible kindness and a great attitude, explaining every detail, and I really want to highlight this because I've read many negative reviews. Yesterday, we also went to schedule an appointment, and she treated us very well again. Another thing I noticed yesterday was how a very arrogant guy started yelling at her, while Andrea very politely told him to lower his voice and speak like civil beings. I'm mentioning this because it's often these kinds of people who leave bad reviews. I just want to thank her and congratulate her!
I went to pay a fee, and the machine clearly indicated that I had to pay at the ATM. Next to it, there's a printed sheet with step-by-step instructions in English and Spanish. The manager on duty, for some reason, was at the cashier's desk trying to help people. He helped me complete the transaction very kindly. He also helped some tourists in English and another guy. Everyone was excellent. This is the second time I've been to this Anton Martin branch. The first time, a very young girl at the cashier's desk also answered my questions very kindly. I'm definitely going to make this my branch of choice, as at other nearby branches, it seems some employees dislike dealing with people. I hope BBVA gives incentives to these workers who provide such good service.
Shameful, pathetic treatment. Completely unacceptable. I wouldn't be a customer of this bank in a million years. I am a respectful and polite person at all times, and I was treated like an invisible, worthless being, ignored, belittled, and dismissed by the staff. I'm giving one star because there's no option to give zero.
