Why does a corporate put such incompetent people at their customer interface? Having read other reviews about this specific branch I realised that people need to speak up. My experience was activating my new credit card...... and "everything" the staff member told me was WRONG. Just so very misleading and utter chaos has ensued as I have to update my card number to multiple services. No idea how to use the new card either because it does not seem to have the PIN I was absolutely assured was on it (that was an embarrassing moment when I tried to purchase something and the card did not work). I now have to make a second visit, but to a different branch, just to fix this guys other screw ups. Fielding such staff to the direct customer interface shows the complete contempt corporate banks have for their customers now we are trapped by them under AML laws. St Lukes Branch has some well earned bad reviews

Just opened an account there, i dunno about the bad reviews, but the guy name raj who handled me is a very nice and helpfull person, he delivered all the information needed, helped me through all the process smoothly and nicely

One of the worst bank experience I have ever faced in my life time. Went there to get to submit Direct debit form and they said they can not do it, however when I went new Lynne branch they did it without single question , when I ask questions what different rule with same bank 2 different branch she said this is our policy which was very funny. Manager of this branch Name is Asmita mishra ( not sure about name ) also the guy ( Sarwesh his name was on counter helping customers was also rud and giving wrong information with attitude. Home westpac management take this in to consideration and take action accordingly!

Went to this branch to try to resolve an easy issue today (Sunday 15 December 2024) and the teller talked to us like we were idiots and was very rude and disrespectful. Did not catch the name but he was wearing a Rodd and Gunn jersey, definitely needs an attitude adjustment!

I've been to this bank in person twice now and both times were equally as horrible as the other. The first time I had made an appointment and upon arrival, they seemed to have no idea of it. The person, Peter, who we dealt with seemed to have no idea what he was doing and was very unhelpful and almost quite rude at times. The second time there, the girl serving us told us that a money transfer was not possible and could not help us, and then when I explained that it should be possible, she then wanted to charge a $35 fee to do the transaction. I sincerely hope other branches are better than this.
