Don’t come here! 🤮The service from this front desk staff is absolutely terrible. From the moment I walked in, this Indian woman was so rude to me. Her tone made it seem like she was going to turn me down no matter what I said. And get this—she actually told me I couldn’t open an account here if I already had one at another bank. What’s even funnier is that I checked the reviews earlier, and someone said this branch once told a customer they couldn’t open an account if they didn’t have one at another New Zealand bank. Their attitude is just awful—they’ll find any excuse to reject you, no matter how ridiculous it is. It’s none of their business! They even had to pry into how long my student visa is valid for. The only thing that matters is that I have a student visa—their question was totally unnecessary. Don’t ever choose this bank, recently, Westpac has offering a cash reward for new account holders, I went into this branch and ask them to help me open an account. The staff at the front desk asked whether I already had an account with another bank. I said yes, she then asked why I needed to open another bank account, I said it was for overseas transfers. She replied: You can transfer the money to the bank you ALREADY HAVE! Why would a bank try to turn away a new customer? This is unbelievable

This is the literal worse branch ever. Something as simple as an eftpos card is an ordeal. Your staff need some digital literacy and better customer service.

Walked here on my lunch break, spent an hour waiting for them to sort out their printer issue only to leave empty handed. How do you still expect me to print your documents you want me to sign? Send it in the mail if you want me to sign your internal documents. Aweful waste of my time.
