I am giving one star only because it is not possible to give zero or negative stars. The customer service at the Ormiston branch was extremely poor. The staff were unable to clearly explain what documents were required to complete our request. As a result, we had to visit the branch four separate times, and on each visit a new requirement was raised—requirements that were never mentioned during the previous visits. This lack of clear communication wasted a significant amount of our time and was very frustrating. I have always had a good impression of ASB Bank in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I sincerely hope that head office will review the online feedback and assess the performance and service standards of the Ormiston branch.

Older Asian female employee with glasses and short hair - lied about the branch printer being broken and unable to help print a statement for my mother who didn’t have a printer at home and needed to provide a statement for IRD. Came back to the branch 15 min later; initially another employee also refused to print for us, but when we grabbed a “feedback form” brochure from the counter the employee immediately changed his mind and managed to print the statement with no issues. Completely arrogant staff and unhelpful.

Visited them and got disappointed as had to stand in queue for 2 hours and still when get turns the staff went for Lunch. Staff is very unprofessional and rude, tried to ignore the customers as they don’t want to work. Will Never visit again. There is need of the staff training as well as teach them customer service. Nobody should visit them.

Terrible experience. Booked an appointment in advance, came early and got sent away. Came back a few minutes later and the line was so long and staff were unable to assist, and the lady who sent us away acted busy even though the customer she was attending to had left for about 10 minutes to go retrieve something. The other staff member who could have been assisting, Asian lady on the left counter, could have been put to use as she was just standing at the computer, not even doing anything, making eye contact with the long line of people. Finally, what should have been 30 minutes into my appointment we were finally seen by a guy at customer 1 office. Terrible guy, first of all he was rushing us, our appointment was meant to be around 30min-1hr, we only got 5-10minutes. He kept looking outside the office, not accounting to us who were sitting right infront of his face. Every time we asked him a question, he did not know the answer or only gave an incompetent one. He ended up scheduling

They won’t serve you unless you have a mask but they also don’t provide masks which is pretty counter productive. Staff was rude and unhelpful she said it’s not their responsibility and suggested I go to neighbouring stores who have masks? you’re telling me to go to another store to get a mask to come into your store. Be a better service!!.
